CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - A professor at Coastal Carolina University was arrested on campus after she came “stumbling into the building”, according to a student, who caught it on video.
Officers with the Coastal Carolina University Police Department were seen escorting Florence Eliza Glaze, 61, out of Brittain Hall on Thursday.
Jail records show the agency charged her with first-offense driving under the influence.
The student who recorded this video recounts what he saw.
“I was sitting around... when i saw this teacher come stumbling into the building,” he said.
He added that it took Glaze “a while” to walk past him, as she was stumbling all over the place before she was caught by other teachers, who waited with her for authorities to arrive.
