DUBLIN —

Cyclone fans and Iowa leaders gathered in Dublin's Merrion Square on Friday for a lively pep rally ahead of the team's international game.

The Iowa State Spirit Squad and band energized thousands of fans, including Iowa State alum and Gov. Kim Reynolds.

Reynolds expressed her enthusiasm for the event, saying, "Oh, I'm so excited, I am so proud, I am so honored to be here. It has been a busy couple of days. We landed yesterday and we went out to their Lyons research farm, that was fantastic."

Before joining the Cyclone fan festivities, Reynolds attended the Ag-Tech Summit at the University College Dublin. The summit aimed to grow economic and academic ties between Ireland and both Iowa and Kansas.
