The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will close lanes this weekend on northbound I-795 to repair sections of damaged concrete pavement.

The work is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Friday, August 22, and continue through 8 a.m. Monday, August 25, between I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) and Owings Mills Boulevard, a typically high-traffic stretch for Baltimore-area drivers.

Closure Schedule:

Friday, Aug. 22 at 9 p.m. – Monday, Aug. 25 at 8 a.m.: One lane on northbound I-795 will remain closed.

The closure will remain in place at all times, even when crews are not actively working.

The department says this is to allow the newly poured concrete to properly cure and undergo testing.
