DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley is working to provide meals in the Quad Cities.

Children who are members of FIP or SNAP households or who are Head Start participants are automatically eligible to receive free meals, officials said. Adult care participants who are members of SNAP households who are SSI or Medicaid participants are automatically eligible to receive free meal benefits.

The program was made possible through the Iowa Department of Education.

Meals are available at no separate charge to enrolled participants in the following child/adult care centers:

Bettendorf

R. Richard Bittner (Downtown Davenport)

North

West

North Scott

Davenport Early Learning Center

Palmer Early Learning Center

Hoover Kids Club

Paul Norton Kids Club
