ATLANTA — A woman said she was left locked inside a medical clinic for hours after staff closed up for the day. Ankita Mackin was unable to move from an exam table until she rolled off of it and crawled to charge her phone.
Mackin, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis four years ago and uses a wheelchair, said she had an appointment at Hanger Clinic in Buckhead to be fitted for braces to help straighten her feet.
She said her transportation dropped her off around 2 p.m.
“I can’t believe these people left me in this building like this" Mackin said.
She said she thought staff would help arrange her ride back home once her appointment ended. Credit: WXIA
“So, I’m thinking that, 'OK, well they know I’m finished so they’re going to call transportation to come back and get me,'” Mac
