EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The City of Evansville invited people to ‘Splash into the School Year’ at Tepe Park.
The event was also a ribbon cutting to “officially” open the new splash pad, even though community members had access to it earlier in the year.
Community members who made their way to the park were met with music, food, and other summer fun.
Parents and community members say they were thankful the City built the splash pad and listened to their feedback.
