TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — School is back, but students are not the only ones returning. Doctors warn that sicknesses will rise as kids return in close proximity.

According to doctors at St. Luke’s, COVID-19, the Flu, and strep throat cases rise as kids return to school.

If your kid gets sick, it’s important to monitor symptoms. If they develop a fever, it’s time to keep them home from school. If the fever doesn’t come down or severe symptoms last more than a week, health experts say you should visit your local health provider.
