ANNISTON – Jack Sentell ran for 242 yards on 17 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead the Gaylesville Trojans to a 30-6 season-opening football win at Donoho on Friday night.

Sentell’s scores went for 88, 36 and 52 yards for the Trojans (1-0).

Gaylesville built an 18-0 advantage at halftime. The Trojans’ first touchdown came on the opening kickoff, as Aydn Heinrich dashed 78 yards for the score. Heinrich also ran for 38 yards on six carries with a touchdown, and added an interception on defense in the fourth quarter. He also posted nine tackles.

The Falcons (0-1) scored their only touchdown on their first possession in the second half to make the score 18-6, but that would be as close as Donoho would come.

Jared Butts led the Trojan defense with 13 tackles. Bradlee
