The grieving parents of a young man who was murdered at Notting Hill Carnival three years ago are pleading for anyone with information about their son's death to come forward. Takayo Nembhard, 21, was stabbed to death surrounded by hundreds of revellers on Monday, August 29, 2022, as crowds of people passed under the Westway flyover in Ladbroke Grove.

Takayo had journeyed from Bristol with his friends and sister to enjoy the carnival and later died in hospital from a stab wound to the right side of his groin. Police arrested several people immediately after his death, but despite their efforts, no charges have been brought.
