LA CROSSE, Wis. (KLTV) - Longview’s Lee Livesay and Brookeland’s Dakota Ebare advanced to the third day of the Pro-Guide Batteries Bassmaster Elite on the Mississippi River.

50 anglers will hit the water Saturday morning.

Livesay was in 85th place after day one. On day two, he caught five fish for 21 pounds, 11 ounces to give him a 2-day total of 32 pounds, eight ounces, which skyrocketed him up the leaderboard into seventh place.

Ebare caught five fish weighing 13 pounds, three ounces for a 2-day total of 27 pounds, 13 ounces to place him in 35th headed into Saturday.

Huntington’s Keith Combs caught five fish weighing 11 pounds, 13 ounces for a 2-day total of 25 pounds, 11 ounces to finish in 58th place.
