BUFFALO, N.Y. (KTRE) - Former Central Heights Blue Devil Duke Ellis drove in two runs across two games as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders split a doubleheader with the Buffalo Bisons on Thursday.

In game one, Ellis went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. In the seventh, Ellis doubled into right field to bring in Braden Shewmake and put the RailRiders up 5-3. In game two, Ellis entered the game in the sixth inning as a pinch runner for T.J. Rumfield. Ellis stole second and third base before being stranded at third to end the inning. In the eighth, Ellis singled on a line drive into left field to bring in Shewmake and give Scranton a 3-1 lead. Ellis stole second and third base again and attempted to steal home but was thrown out to end the inning.
