CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - The West Ashley Library will be closed Saturday due to flooding in the area.

Charleston County Public Library officials closed the library early on Friday because of heavy rain and flooding; however, the weather threat persists Saturday, prompting the library to remain closed.

Library leaders expect the branch to resume normal operations Monday.

“As a reminder, patrons may still access our digital resources during the closures by visiting ccpl.org,” CCPL said.
