KUNIA, Hawaii (Island News) -- The evacuation orders for a large brush fire in the mountains near Kunia have been lifted.

The brush fire was reported at 4:23 p.m. by emergency officials. The Honolulu Fire Department was dispatched to the area of 92-1700 Kunia Rd and Kunia Village.

Firefighters continue to respond to the fire in the mauka areas. The fire poses no threats to homes at this time.

Roads in the area have reopened and residents should return to evacuated areas with caution.

There have been no reports of damaged structures or injuries.

The cause and origin of this fire is not known at this time.
