DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A motorcyclist is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Butler County late Friday evening.

According to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at approximately 8:44 p.m. in the 1900 block of Trenton Oxford Rd.

The initial investigation found the motorcyclist was heading east on Trenton Oxford Rd. when it collided with a pickup truck that was heading west.

The motorcyclist was declared dead on the scene by Oxford City Life Squad members.

The crash is under active investigation by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials are not releasing the name of the motorcycle or the pickup driver at this time.
