TOWN OF EMMET, Wis. (WKOW) — A serious motorcycle crash occurred on Friday just before midnight in the Town of Emmet.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office reported that the crash involved a single motorcycle on County Road CW.

The initial investigation revealed that the 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound when it veered off the road and collided with a telephone pole.

The 42-year-old male driver from Oconomowoc was ejected from the motorcycle and was discovered by a passerby. The driver sustained serious life-threatening injuries.

He was first taken to Watertown Regional Medical Center by Watertown Emergency Medical Services and later flown to Aurora Medical Center Summit.
