Drivers are being urged to keep one essential item in their car at night or face a £1,000 fine. Motorists and road users are being told to ensure they keep a clean microfibre cloth in their cars at all times.

Owner of Simple PCP Claims , Tom Riley, explained: "Most drivers think a cloth is just a convenience item, but it's actually one of the most important safety tools you can have in your car."
