ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Fulton County man and an Albany County man have been detained in connection to separate child sex abuse image crimes, according to the United States Attorney's Office Northern District of New York. Ryan Mowrey, 38, of Caroga Lake and Nicholas Sherlock, 33, of Watervliet both face several years in prison if convicted.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Mowrey is accused of seeking to engage in sexual activity with an 11-year-old girl. He reportedly communicated with an adult that he believed had access to the child and planned to meet in late April to engage in the sexual activity.
