On Saturday, Barnies Place and Columbia Ballet Academy held a tea party fundraiser to help each other raise money.

"Several months ago, Carol, who's one of our volunteers and I were talking about a new fundraiser." Said Diann Stelzer, president of Barnies Place, a feline rescue. "And we thought having a tea party would be an amazing event, and we decided to partner with Columbia Ballet."

"One of our professional directors, she works with Barnies Place a lot. She has a huge passion for helping cats and saving cats," said Alec Roth, executive director of Columbia Ballet Academy. "Both of us are big cat lovers, so it was kind of natural that we get in touch with Diann, and she suggested that we do this kind of joint event and fundraiser."
