NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) -- People were able to take a ride in the sky on Saturday in New Castle.
Airplanes & Automobiles, a non-profit organization formerly known as Wings and Wheels, hosted a free, public event offering rides in small planes and helicopters. It brought in people from all around Ohio and Pennsylvania.
There was a lot to see, from unique aircrafts and cars.
"I have a lot of car friends, I have a lot of aviation friends, and we all seem to get along and just enjoy being with each other," said Larry Hawkins Sr., a pilot from Carrollton, Ohio. "You actually get to talk to people and shake their hands and enjoy being with them."
The event took place at the New Castle airport.
