(KRON) — A plane made an emergency landing in Wilder Ranch State Park, north of Santa Cruz Saturday.
A pilot successfully landed the plane in a grass field after the plane lost power over Scotts Valley, according to the Cal Fire San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit.

“Thankfully, they made a safe landing in an open field,” Cal Fire said.
The pilot and a student passenger were not injured. The plane landed undamaged.
