PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson spoke at a Pickens County Republican Club gathering Saturday morning.

The attorney general met with attendees at the Mutt’s BBQ in Easley to share about his run for governor, including his plan to abolish state income tax.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from Attorney General Wilson and ask questions.

The event also featured a flag ceremony and a presentation of the Guiding Star Award to Kim Gillespie Chastain, co-founder of Foothills Fentanyl Fight, for her leadership and advocacy in the fight against fentanyl.

“This event is about fellowship, honoring service, and recognizing leadership that is making a difference in our community,” said the President of the Pickens County Republican Club
