LINCOLN, Neb. (News Channel Nebraska) - The emergency water restrictions in the city of Fairbury have been lifted.
According to Gregg DeFrain, city’s water superintendent, the emergency restrictions that were put in place Friday night have been lifted as of Saturday morning.
The city’s latest alert issued Saturday morning reads: “thanks to the wonderful response time of Sargent Drilling of Geneva all necessary repairs have been made, and all wells are functioning properly.”
“I can’t thank Gregg DeFrain enough for his work through the night, watching the SCADA system on his computer to make sure everything was keeping up at the water tower,” Fairbury mayor Kelly Davis wrote on Facebook. “Thank you, Adam Criner, with the water department, and Andrew Adams with the line department for you
