Hercules' nose is just the tip of the iceberg for the Arkansas Air and Military Museum.
The massive C-130 H "Hercules" aircraft may be all motorists can see from their car window while driving the narrow strip of Interstate 49 south of South Fayetteville, but there's so much more history on the other side of the fence at Drake Field.
"We have exhibits ranging from 1911 all the way up to today. So you have a pretty wide range of topics," says Laci Prince, the museum's director. "We have everything from Thunderbird medics to drug dealers' airplanes, so it's a very unique collection."
In addition to aircraft of all shapes and sizes, the museum's three building house a collection of vehicles, tools, uniforms and all sorts of artifacts related to military and aviation history. According to t
