Apparently, Trump's antics once again deceived the opposition fraternity, including the La Interfecta gang, who truly believed that the deployment of US warships in the Caribbean signaled an invasion of the country. They would arrest Nicolás, Diosdado, and Padrino, and hand the nation over to someone who has already proven to be not only a sociopath but also a mythomaniac.

The announcement that the combat ships were returning to their ports left those who truly cannot be called anything other than traitors cold.
