JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A local military museum is raising money to bring the history of the Magic Valley’s veterans all over Jerome County.

The Northside Military Museum in Jerome opened in 2016. The museum features uniforms, equipment, and other military-related items donated to it by Magic Valley residents and veterans.

The museum’s mission is to preserve and honor veterans, while educating the public at large for free.

Secretary and curator Amanda Bolich said in an effort to expand their mission, the museum purchased a school bus to create a mobile military museum.

“The idea is to fill it with really interactive displays, things that would interest both the young and the older and take it out to area schools across the Magic Valley or community events as we are invited,” Bolich
