For the first time ever, Nevada has a shot at winning the Little League championship.

Summerlin South, Nevada's representative in the Little League World Series, will face Chinese Taipei in the 38th and final game of the double elimination bracket.

Sunday's Little League World Series Championship Game between Nevada and Chinese Taipei will air at 12 p.m. Pacific on ABC .

Earlier on Sunday, ABC will air the consolation third-place game between Connecticut and Aruba. That game will begin at 7 a.m. Pacific, and will air on ESPN2.

Nevada has gone 5-1 in the tournament in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, starting with a 16-1 victory over Illinois on Aug. 13. They won the U.S. bracket on Saturday afternoon 8-2 over Connecticut. The victory avenged their only defeat so far in the series, a 7-3
