MENASHA, Wis. (WBAY) - In a continued effort to help Brett Jedwabny and his family after a tragic power washing accident in July of last year, family and friends from the Menasha community put on an event called the “Brett Jedwabny Benefit Ride” at City Limits on Saturday.

They raised money through a silent auction, as well as a ride to Lake Poygan.

The event was organized by Brett’s grandfather, Keith Haase, with the help of the owners of City Limits.

“The paramedics and the police man and everybody else. The neighbors. They all come together, and they’re a big family. That’s what it is. A great big family,” says Haase.

The group rode over to Lake Poygan and hit three different stops on the way before coming back to City Limits in Menasha, the ride totaling over 60 miles.
