SPOKANE, Wash. – The sound of motorcycles filled the air in Spokane as the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, consisting of current and retired firefighters and EMTs, arrived at the Ronald McDonald House .

Around 1 p.m., the club delivered a trailer filled with pantry staples, household essentials, and comfort items for families staying at the facility. These families are there while their children receive medical care.

Kaitlin Cole, Development Manager for RMHC of the Inland Northwest, emphasized the impact of the donations.

"The impact that this has on our families.... we have up to four people per family that are living in each one of our rooms," Cole said.

This year marked the fifth annual benefit ride, with community members also joining in to drop off donations.
