SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The first-ever "Cops and Kids Car Show" was held Saturday in Spokane Valley, bringing classic cars and community fun to Balfour Park. The event was organized by the Spokane County Sheriff's Office and the Spokane Valley Police Department.
The show featured a variety of attractions. Officers showcased canines, drones and SWAT vehicles, while a DJ kept the atmosphere lively. Local food trucks were present, serving up crowd favorites to attendees.
Kids had the opportunity to win a free bike, and the event supported back-to-school donations for local students. Spokane Valley Police Chief Dave Ellis highlighted the positive interactions between the public and law enforcement.
