RHINEBECK – Today (Sunday) is the last day for the 2025 Dutchess County Fair. This year is the 179th anniversary of the fair featuring historical exhibits, livestock shows, a midway, and the famous 4-H milkshakes.

The fair opened on Tuesday under sunny skies and moderate temperatures. Wednesday, however, was a literal washout, with rain arriving in the morning and lasting until after the gates closed for the night. The biggest draw at the gate for Wednesday was the concert by long-performing rock band Cheap Trick, who played to a sold-out crowd who braved the precipitation to hear classics such as “Dream Police” and “I Want You To Want Me”.

The gates open at 10 am and attendees can enjoy the last day of the fair until the gates close at 8 pm until the fair returns in 2026.
