TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Another toasty day on tap. A First Alert Weather Day with temps in the 105 range. Extreme Heat Warning for Tucson, eastern Pima county and almost all of Pinal county. Central and western Pima county’s daily warm-up might be interrupted by afternoon thunderstorms.

Afternoon and evening thundershowers widespread re-enter the forecast on Monday with good coverage for Tuesday. A First Alert Weather Day has been declared for Tuesday. It resumes to more spotty rain coverage for Wednesday. Back to isolated thundershowers to finish the week. Rain will help suppress highs, as we slide into below averages to the mid or even lower 90’s come midweek.

By next weekend, a return of better rain for Cochise County is possible, but little coverage to the west.
