BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Good afternoon!

The Next 24 Hours: We’re looking at some cooler and drier air moving in today, making things feel a bit more comfortable than the past several days.

A weak disturbance has been sliding through this morning, and it helped to spark a stray shower in parts of west Alabama. Chances have stayed on the low side, around 15-20%, and anything that continues to pop up should fade as the day goes on.

Afternoon highs should be close to 81 degrees in many spots, with areas south of Birmingham running a little warmer. Skies should be variably cloudy overall, and the lower humidity will be noticeable.

Tonight, temperatures are expected to dip into the upper 50s and low 60s, which will make for a refreshing start to Wednesday.
