Gaston County police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another hurt.

The victims were found just before 8:30 p.m. Friday night inside a vehicle near Goble Street and Huffman Road. That’s off Highway 321 south of Gastonia.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Their names have not been released. There’s also no word on a possible suspect.
