Two men are charged with second-degree murder after a homicide in Burke County.

Deputies found a man dead Friday on North Carolina Highway 126 northwest of Morganton.

They arrested 27-year-old Chad MacJarrett and 26-year-old Donvaen Purcell. They’re both being held with no bond and will face a judge on Monday.

The victim’s name has not been released.
