CALERA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Calera Police Department is sharing about how citizen calls led to an arrest on Saturday night, Aug. 23.
In a post shared on Facebook , Calera Police say that their dispatch received calls reporting a vehicle driving recklessly without headlights.
Police say they saw a car that matched the description in a gas station parking lot. The car then struck a pole and a gas pump.
The officer reportedly turned on their lights and used their PA to ask the driver to pull over. However, the driver pulled away, leading the officer to pursue the car.
