COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) -Hundreds of Texas A&M cadets, the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band, parents, and Aggie supporters gathered early Saturday morning for the Corps of Cadets’ annual Fish Review.
The event, held on Simpson Drill Field, marked the first time the class of 2029 marched as a unit after completing Fall Orientation Week. The review began with cadets stepping off from the Quad at 8:30 a.m. sharp before taking their oath as full members of the Corps.
Lieutenant General James W. Bierman, commandant of the Corps of Cadets, served as the reviewing officer. It was his first time overseeing a Corps Pass in Review since assuming the position.
Caroline Spencer, the Corps’ public relations officer, said the ceremony carries deep meaning for both new and senior cadets.
