WAYNE COUNTY, Pa. — Kids got a confidence boost at a back-to-school haircut event in Wayne County.
The Hideout Elves gave away free back-to-school haircuts to local children along Hamlin Highway in Salem Township. Their mission is to support and empower the community through donations and fundraising.
"I mean, I personally have two kids in the school districts here, and they just think it's great," said Emily Vangorden with The Hideout Elves Inc. "They say mommy's helping our friends, and that means a lot to all of us. We all have children and families, and it means a lot to help the kids out."
Nearly 40 kids signed up for haircuts today in Wayne County.
