PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - At least one person is hurt after a reported fire in a high-rise Portland apartment building downtown on Sunday afternoon, according to Portland Fire & Rescue.

Just after 3:30 p.m., crews responded to the Bud Clark Commons apartments on Northwest Hoyt Street after people reported a “blown out window” and flames, PF&R said.

Firefighters said they arrived to find a window open with smoke and what looked like an activated sprinkler.

Crews said they found one person hurt and an ambulance was at the scene, ready to take them to the hospital.

About half an hour after responding, PF&R said the fire was under control, and said they would release more information soon.

The story will be updated as information is available.
