HOBBS, NM (KCBD) - High School Football kicked off in New Mexico with Hobbs topping rival Lovington 41-13, making the Eagles the first End Zone Team of the Week!

Hobbs led 6-0, but scored a late second quarter touchdown to lead 14-0 at the half.

The Eagles soared and scored in the second half to pull away and earn their first win of the season.

KCBD Sports was there to talk to Head Coach Ken Stevens and the Eagles.

Hobbs faces Artesia this week.
