ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills could be close to signing a familiar face around Western New York.
Veteran defensive tackle Jordan Phillips visited the Bills on Sunday, according to a social media post from NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero . The 32-year-old is expected to sign later this week, he said.
The 2015 second-round pick started his career in Miami. The Dolphins waived him after four games in 2018. That's when he joined Buffalo, finishing with 19 tackles in 12 games. Phillips returned in 2019, making 31 tackles in 16 games, including 9.5 sacks.
Phillips played the 2020 and 2021 seasons in Arizona before returning to Buffalo. He made 20 tackles in 12 games during the 2022 season, then 15 tackles in 14 games during the 2023 campaign.
