PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A 40-year-old man is facing charges after he allegedly fired several shots inside a north Portland home and then climbed onto a neighbor’s roof on Saturday night, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Police first responded to 911 calls around 11:30 p.m. from people on North Moore Street in the Piedmont Neighborhood, PPB said.

According to police, a family member told them that the suspect, identified as Ryan Latin of Portland, had walked out of the house carrying a gun. Police said witnesses told them Latin was screaming, breaking glass, and banging on things with a shovel or another object.
