A dense fog advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Monday at 5:12 a.m. in effect until 9 a.m. for Northern Clinton, Northern Centre, Southern Centre, Northern Lycoming, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Potter, Tioga, Sullivan, Union and Snyder counties.

The weather service states to expect, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."

"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," adds the weather service. "Consider allowing extra time to reach your destination."
