MAYFIELD, Ky. (KFVS) - Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting near a high school football game in western Kentucky on Friday night.
According to Mayfield Police Chief Nathan Kent, a 14-year-old male from Fulton, Ky., has been arrested for first-degree assault. He is currently being held at a juvenile detention center.
Chief Kent said the juvenile shot 18-year-old Jordan Riley of Farmington, Ky., in his arm and upper torso.
Riley had to be airlifted to an out-of-state hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
