The UK has been greeted by sunshine and hot temperatures this August bank holiday, however, the question on everyone's mind is 'how long will it last?'

In the Midlands today, August 25, we have been lucky enough to experience sunny spells and scorching conditions up to 27C, forecast to last all day.

However, looking forward only a few hours, this pleasant period could soon be taking a turn for the worst, as the Met Office predicts Tuesday morning could leave Birmingham lightly spattered by rain, but it is hoped this will turn into cloud with some sun later in the day.
