The mother of Jay Slater, Debbie Duncan, has slammed her son's friend for his "sick" actions just weeks after the inquest into his death had finished.

Stephen Roccas was one of the last people to see the 19-year-old alive, before he disappeared on June 17, 2024 after attending the NRG music festival with his friends in Tenerife.

His body was found just under a month later at the Juan Lopez Ravine. Since then, an inquest into his death has been carried out, with the coroner concluding the teenager's death as "accidental" with "no third-party involved."
