Friday’s clothed body was recovered from Pine Lake in West Bloomfield Township on July 29, two days after he reportedly left the Southfield apartment he shared with his mother, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. It took nearly a month before the body was identified, determined by investigators based on DNA evidence from a lotion bottle Friday had used, the sheriff’s office said.
