Weather maps have revealed that five counties in England could be set for a heatwave in September.
In order to be officially classed as a heatwave, the mercury must reach 25C or above for three consecutive days in most parts of England.
However for London and the South East, the threshold is higher and rises to either 27C or 28C.

According to WX Charts, five counties could see the temperature rise to either 25C or 26C from Saturday, September 6, to Monday, September 8.
These counties are: Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Somerset and Devon.
