Police have launched an appeal for information following two burglaries in a Midland town.

They took place in the Halesowen area of Dudley on Thursday, August 21.

Two men believed to have been wearing balaclavas targeted a car on Hazeldene Road at around 3am.

They were disturbed and fled.

Around an hour later, a second house on Wythall Road was broken into and an Audi A3 was stolen from outside.

West Midlands Police attended the scene and officers have launched an investigation.

The force appealed for information, including for CCTV from residents.
