The Flat Fire has destroyed four homes and six other types of buildings in central Oregon as it continues burning roughly two miles northeast of Sisters.

The largest wildfire in Oregon remains under a red flag warning through Aug. 26, meaning it's expected to continue growing in the foreseeable future. Level 1, 2 and 3 ("go now") evacuation warnings remain in place. The latest evacuation map can be found here .

At least 4,000 homes are threatened by the blaze, officials said previously. Fire crews from the Oregon State Fire Marshal are working to protect homes between Sisters and Lake Billy Chinook, where the fire is burning.
