FRANKLIN, Ky. – A Tennessee man is facing drug possession charges following a collision in Simpson County.
A uniform citation states the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office responded around 4:36 p.m. to Kenny Perry Drive for a non-injury collision.
Authorities say upon arrival, they spoke with one of the drivers, 30-year-old Hayden Uhles of Hendersonville, Tennessee, who stated the collision was his fault.
Deputies say Uhles stated he had “dozed off” and entered the opposite lane of travel, which led to the collision.
During a vehicle search, deputies say they located a glass pipe with marijuana residue, a used syringe with residue and other drug paraphernalia consistent with heroin use, along with suspected marijuana.
Deputies say Uhles stated he had heroin in his possession as well.
